How do you give exhibitors a hotel booking link?

Map D can give every exhibitor a hotel booking link at booth checkout. Turn on Hotel Booking for a show and Map D builds a HotelPlanner search from the venue address and show dates, or you can paste your own housing link. Exhibitors see it on their booth order confirmation.

Your questions answered

Common questions about exhibitor hotel booking links.

Request Demo

Is hotel booking on by default?

No. Hotel Booking is off for every show until you turn it on in the show wizard or the show's Configuration page.

Where do exhibitors see the link?

On the booth order confirmation page, with the message "Ready to book your hotel? Click here to find hotels near the event."

What does auto mode use to build the link?

The venue street address, city, state and postal code, plus the show's start and end dates. If the show has no start date, the end date is used.

Can we use our own housing provider?

Yes. Choose manual mode and paste your housing link. Exhibitors will see that link instead of the generated HotelPlanner search.

Does this work for attendees who buy tickets?

Attendee registration has its own hotel booking setting. You add a link and a message in the show's ticket display settings, and ticket buyers see a Book your hotel button on the registration success page.
