Upload the plan you already have and place the booths on it yourself, in Map D's map editor. Snap-to-grid keeps rows straight and dimensions exact, so you can see exactly what your floor would look like in the product before you spend anything.
Free to build one event's floor plan. Publishing it to your event site and selling booths through it start at $1,500 per event.

You do not need to fill this in to build your floor plan — the account above is all it takes. Use this if you would rather have someone show you the editor, size a plan against your show, or answer procurement questions first.

You do. You upload your layout and place the booths yourself in the map editor, with snap-to-grid keeping rows straight and dimensions exact. That is the point of the offer: you find out what the tool is like to use on your own floor, rather than watching someone else drive.
An image of your plan. If what your venue or general service contractor sent you is a CAD file or a PDF, export or screenshot a page of it first and upload that. If the plan only exists on paper, photograph it flat in good light and work from the photo.
The layout image is a backdrop you place booths on top of, so the booths are real inventory in Map D rather than shapes imported from your file. That means a hall of repeating inline booths goes quickly with snap-to-grid, and a floor with a lot of irregular islands takes longer.
Nothing, and there is no card and no contract. Map D's paid plans start at $1,500 per event and every rate is listed on the pricing page, so you can size a budget before you ever speak to sales.
No. Plenty of organizers build a plan, look at it, and go no further — which is a perfectly reasonable outcome and the reason the offer exists in this form. There is no obligation attached.
Building the map is. Putting it in front of other people is not: publishing it to your event site, sharing it with exhibitors and selling space through it are what a paid plan adds. The free build is there so you can judge the tool on your own floor first, rather than on a demo of someone else's.
Yes. The interactive floor plan is on all three Map D plans, including Starter at $1,500 per event, so publishing is available on the entry tier. Selling booths online starts at the Growth plan, which means you can publish a plan first and add self-serve booth sales later.
